aleeshawear.ae is a fashion research site for UAE women of all sizes, especially curvy, plus-size, modest, and western. We analyze online reviews to find comfortable, practical clothing for life in the UAE climate.
Who’s behind the research:
aleeshawear is a family-run site, edited by Humaira and supported by a UAE-based team. All content is shaped by daily input from women in our family and network living in the UAE, sizes UK 6–24 and 2XL–4XL — who deal with 45°C heat, mall fitting-room issues, and finding clothes that work for modest, western, and mixed styles firsthand.
How we create guides:
- UAE Review Analysis: We read hundreds of Amazon.ae, Noon, and Namshi reviews, filtering for keywords like "Dubai heat", "sticks to skin", "runs small", "see-through".
- Direct Feedback: We discuss fits, fabrics, and failures with UAE women in our family and network. If an abaya rides up in the car, jeans go sheer in sunlight, or a dress fails after 1 wash, we don't recommend it.
- Fabric + Weather Filter: We check material details against UAE climate. 100% polyester + bad reviews for “sauna” = out. Cotton/linen blends + “breathable” reviews = in.
We don’t sell clothes. We don’t accept paid posts. If we earn a commission from Amazon.ae, it costs you nothing.
Our goal: Save UAE women the mall stress we hear about every week.
